Therma-Lock Insulation is a trusted insulation contractor in Spokane, WA serving homeowners across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. It’s owned and run by Ruvim Dragomir. We answer our own phone, we come out and look at the job ourselves, and it’s a crew of two or three of us in the attic — we don’t sub the work out to anybody.
We’ve been insulating houses around Spokane since 2017. We started out doing the insulation on new builds for local builders, which we still do, and that’s where the standard comes from — a builder will have you back to fix anything that isn’t right, so you learn to do it right the first time.

You can actually reach us
We answer our own phone, Monday to Friday, 8 to 5. If we’re up a ladder and it goes to voicemail, you’ll hear back within the hour. Asked why people pick us over the bigger outfits, the honest answer is that one — they can get hold of us.
Real quotes, not phone guesses
The on-site estimate is free, whether you go ahead or not. We get in the attic and quote the actual job — not a guess from the driveway or over the phone.
We’ll tell you not to do it
If your insulation is clean and dry and simply thin, you don’t need a removal, you need a top-up, and we’ll quote you the cheaper job. If something isn’t ours — asbestos, live mold — we hand it to somebody licensed for it.
If it isn’t right, we come back
No badge, no small print. If you’re not happy with something we did, give us a ring and we’ll do our best to put it right. That’s the whole promise and it’s one we can keep.

WHAT WE DON’T
What we don’t
We’d rather tell you now than waste your afternoon.
- Spray foam. We used to. We don’t any more.
- Asbestos or vermiculite. That needs a licensed abatement contractor — we’ll give you a name, and insulate once it’s out.
- Pole barns and metal buildings. Not our work — we’ll say so on the phone rather than waste your time.
- Commercial buildings. Houses, garages and shops are our work.
- Duct work. Ask us and we’ll point you at somebody who does it properly.
Roughly an hour from the shop in Spokane Valley is our patch — Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, Deer Park, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden. Further than that there’s a trip charge, which we’ll tell you about before we set off.
