What this website collects when you ask for an estimate, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted.

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Therma-Lock Insulation is a small insulation contractor in Spokane Valley, Washington. This page explains, in plain words, what information this website collects, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it.

What the estimate form collects

When you ask for a free estimate, the form sends us:

  • your name, phone number and email address;
  • anything you choose to write about the job;
  • how you found us: if you arrived from an ad or a tagged link, the ad click ID (gclid, wbraid or gbraid) and campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), plus the first page you landed on and the website that sent you.

We use your details to get back to you about that job: to call you, email you, arrange a visit and send you a quote. The “how you found us” details tell us which of our ads and pages bring in real enquiries, so we spend less on the ones that don’t.

Where it goes

A form request is emailed to our office inbox and a copy is kept in the website’s database, so a lead can’t get lost if an email does. Submissions are checked by an automatic spam filter (Akismet) before they reach us. The companies that host the website, deliver its email and filter spam handle the data only to provide those services to us.

We do not sell your information, and we don’t put you on a marketing list. We only share it where the law requires us to.

Cookies and Google

The site uses a small number of cookies:

  • Our own attribution cookie (tl_attr), with a copy in your browser’s local storage. It remembers the ad click ID and campaign tags from your first visit for 90 days, so that if you fill in the form a few days later we still know which ad or search brought you here. It holds no name, phone number or email address.
  • Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows us how people use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells Google when an ad click led to an estimate request. Both set their own cookies. How Google uses that data is covered by the Google partner-sites policy.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and control ad personalisation at My Ad Center.

Phone calls

Tapping a phone number on the site is counted as a click in our analytics, so we know the site is working. The website itself does not see or record the number you call from or the call.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests for as long as we need them to follow up, do the job and keep ordinary business records. The attribution cookie expires after 90 days.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Ask us and we’ll tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it, unless we have to keep it for a legal or accounting reason (for example, the invoice for a job we did). Email ThermaLockWA@gmail.com or call (509) 200-7677, and tell us the name and phone number or email you used on the form.

Children

This site is for homeowners and builders. It isn’t aimed at children and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change how the site handles your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
